Ugh, Tom Cruise? Really? Isn’t he too short, too old, too well-known to play such an iconic character? What were they thinking ??? If the movie’s a hit & they want to make subsequent movies, how old will TC be by the time they’re finished doing all the books? 70? Uh…don’t think that’s gonna work. they really should have come up with some wonderful unknown. Bet TC’ll be getting lots of bad publicity now, too, when he tries to grind his wife to dust in the divorce proceedings… What a terribly disappointing choice!
I thoroughly enjoy the Reacher series….have read every book and as of tonight am on the reserve list for Wanted Man at the local library…..also agree that Cruise is a very poor choice for the roll….I think either Mel Gibson or Harrison Ford more closely fit the mental image of Reacher that I have.
I agree Tom Cruise was not a good choice. I was thinking Daniel Craig would be a good choice.
